Prerequisite: One obedience class (Hi Joy Hills or any training facility)

 

Clicker training is another form of positive reinforcement training that uses a marker (sound from a clicker) to communicate to the dog that he has correctly performed a behavior.  It allows a trainer to shape behaviors in small steps that provide clarity to the dog.  This training is fun for both handler and dog and allows the dog to be mentally stimulated by using operant principles.
